Hockey
Traditionally term 1 (Aug – Oct) is a very busy term for our school hockey teams. This year we again entered 4 teams in the Ross-Sutherland Leagues: S1, S2, S3 and Seniors.
They played home matches against Tain, Fortrose, Dingwall, and away to Alness and Dornoch (Seniors only). Unfortunately Invergordon were unable to travel to play us this year but we had an opportunity to play them in the recent tournaments.
LEAGUE RESULTS:
In November we travelled to compete in three hockey tournaments. Dingwall was the venue for our Senior Girls team and Tain for S1 and S2 girls. All three teams are to be commended for their effort and determination. A special mention goes to the S1 girls who have put in some fantastic results in the league and managed on a count back of goals to win the tournament at Tain. An excellent result. Thanks to Louise Nadin (Active Schools Co-ordinator), Mrs S Kinsella and Mrs P Sutherland for volunteering to help coach teams and referee matches. A big thanks also to all the parents who have assisted with transporting children to and home from games. Your contribution is greatly appreciated
