All Courses include 40 hours over and above the 120 hours for the Units. This may by used for induction, extending the range of learning and teaching approaches, support, consolidation, integration of learning and preparation for external assessment.
The physical activities in a Course should arise from a process of negotiation between teachers/lecturers and candidates that takes account of the interests and talents of the candidate, and the effective management of available facilities and resources. In agreeing activities with candidates, teachers/lecturers must take account of managing assessment.
